Introduction

One of the country's leading meat producers and processors needed to optimize and provide specialized maintenance for the transport systems within its production lines. Given the critical nature of its food operations, the client sought an expert industrial engineer capable of developing transport solutions that could withstand extremely demanding environments without compromising the safety of its processes.

Problem

The constant flow of production was causing natural wear and tear on the conveyor belt components, so the company needed to replace and adapt the chain guide curves on its equipment. The main logistical and technical challenge lay in the strict regulations of the food industry: the new components had to prevent bacterial growth at all costs, be highly resistant to constant friction, and withstand intensive washing cycles.
